What this website collects, and why.

If you send us an enquiry through the contact form, we receive the name, email address, telephone number, company name, subject and message you type into it. Only the name, email address and message are required; the rest are optional and can be left blank.

Alongside your message we record the IP address the submission came from, your browser’s user-agent string, and the page that referred you. These are kept for one reason: to identify and filter automated spam, and to rate-limit the form so it cannot be used to flood our inbox.

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, does not use social media pixels, and does not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

We currently run no analytics or measurement scripts at all. If that changes, this page will be updated before it does.

The site stores one item locally in your browser: your choice of light or dark appearance. It is a single value, it never leaves your device, and it is not used to identify you. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

To reply to your enquiry, to keep a record of the conversation while a project is under discussion, and to prevent abuse of the contact form. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.

Enquiries are retained while they are commercially relevant — for an active or prospective project, for the duration of that project and a reasonable period afterwards. Submissions identified as spam are removed periodically.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will do so, unless we are required to retain it for a legal or contractual reason.

Enquiries are visible to the administrators of this website — a small number of named people at Built Aura Building Contracting L.L.C. Access requires an individual account with a password, and accounts can be revoked.

The data is stored on the server that hosts this website. We do not transfer it to third-party marketing platforms.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and tell us which; if you are asking about an enquiry, quoting the reference number we sent you helps us find it quickly.

Enquiries are submitted over an encrypted connection. Administrator passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text, and are checked against known breached-password databases when set. The administration area is not publicly listed and requires authentication.

If we change what we collect or why, we will change this page. It carries no version history, so the version you are reading is the current one.
